I have no regret. Their price was reasonable ( a lot cheaper than the cruise line) and their service was excellent. Our drivers for the tours ( Lascelles and Pamela) met us at the port and our family of 10 went on 2 separate tours-the Authentic sightseeing tour and the water rafting/ Dunn's fall tour. Both tours were excellent and I would recommend Traverse Jamaica Tour to my friends.

When I was in Jamaica last week I used traversejamaica.com. Best thing I have ever done. Our driver was Lascells Broderick. He is out of Ochos Rios I believe, but I think he goes to Montego Bay too. Rates are great. We were actually able to arrange for a private tour with him. There were 6 of us and he charged $250 for the entire group (total) and that was for 10 hours. There are some other packages on his web site that are there too, and they will customize to what you want. The next time we go to Jamaica we will use him again. I just can't say enough about what a wonderful guy he is. If you have any questions just let me know.

I used Lacells and he did a custom tour for us (6). It was wonderful. He is knowledgeable and will keep and eye on you. The Jamaican's in the port areas seem pretty pushy (they are trying to make a living so it didn't bother me) and Lacells is really good about being a buffer so they don't bother you. He also knows of a beach right by the falls that is fun to go to, has another falls there also where you can mingle with the natives if you want to.
He also knows of a really good jamaican jerk restaurant that has the best food - I spent $40 for dinner for 7 and had more than I could eat. Went to Margaritaville and spent $270 for the same amount of people and the food wasn't that great.

Our family of 5 stayed in Ocho Rios over Christmas and New Years of 2009/10. We looked into several tour companies before we left Calgary and via e-mails, expressing the fact that we wanted to tour the island and earn about the Jamaican history and culture, we found the staff at Traverse to both accommodating and knowledgeable.

Their site provides great tour packages to choose from and they will accommodate you in customizing your tour to suit your requirements at a fair price.  We used Traverse Jamaica for the airport transfer between Montego Bay to Ocho Rios, and also to explore the island on a couple of occasions.  We had full 10 hour days visiting the central, south and west coast. I cannot say enough about this company, their professional ism, their knowledge of their island and culture, and their desire to make sure that you enjoy your stay is of the utmost importance.  Our tour driver was Lascells Broderick and he joined us on our site seeing stops and tours and after awhile it felt like he was part of the family.  We  had such an enjoyable time that we want  to return to Jamaica and when we do Traverse Jamaica will be without a doubt the tour company we will use to visit the western part of the island.

We have been to Jamaica for the 4th time now, comparing to other tour operators in Jamaica, to the best of my knowledge by far, Traverse Jamaica is the best we have experienced on our 1.5 hours airport transfer to our hotel...in few words they are the best! In addition our driver Mr. Lascells Broderick was very courteous and on time for our RT airport Transfer.
I will not hesitate to use them next time and gladly recommend them to our friends.
